Let me show
you the Sri Lanka
I grew up in.
I’m Dhanuka — born and raised on this island, and driving people around it is what I do for a living. I help families, couples, and solo travellers plan relaxed, flexible Sri Lanka trips, with honest advice, real local knowledge, and no hidden prices.

More than a driver. A friend on the road.
Travel Sri Lanka with someone who knows the roads, the restaurants, and when to slow down — a trusted local helping you through your trip, not a packaged tour service.
Families come first
Snack stops, supermarket runs, toilet breaks, and a patient hand when the kids are tired. Stress-free travel is the whole point.
Driver, fixer, friend
I drive, I narrate, I translate, I fix the inevitable problems. You stare out the window.
Built around you
Custom itineraries shaped to your interests, fitness, and tolerance for early starts. Not a fixed package.
Photo & viewpoint stops
I know exactly where to pull over. And exactly when the light is right.
Local food, real spots
Roadside hopper shacks, tea-estate kitchens, and that one curry stall outside Tissa.
Off the tour-bus loop
Wild beaches, forgotten temples, hill-country villages. The places I take friends.
Routes we've refined mile by mile.

Born on this island.
Raised on these roads.
DBRO started with a love story — me and this island. As kids and teenagers, my friends and I would pile into anything with wheels and chase the next beach, the next waterfall, the next quiet temple. Some of those friends are still here. Some have scattered around the world. The island stayed with all of us.
Now I get to do that for guests. A background in hospitality, a photographer's eye, and driving as my full-time thing — so I can show you the Sri Lanka I grew up in. The beauty. The calm. The wild places. The food. The culture. Slowly, safely, the way the island deserves to be seen.
Personal, end-to-end. Honest pricing. A real friend before, during and after the trip. WhatsApp me at midnight before you arrive — I will pick up.
Stories from the road.
“Our three kids (7, 5 and 3) genuinely adored him. He even decorated the bus on the day one of them had a birthday. He understood exactly what we needed, and at what pace.”
“Goodbye for now Aiya (brother), thank you for everything.”
“He always stays close by when you need him — even for a quick supermarket run, or when you've forgotten a bag at a restaurant. Clear prices, no surprises afterwards.”
